Marine Biology Reflection - "Pit Stop" ...
1 ~ Create 1-2 pages for your scrapbook about your Marine Biology Trip. It should include at least 2 travel journal entries (favorite memories, things you learned each day, how you pushed yourself/was challenged, a low...) &  pictures/drawings/etc. - DUE Monday June 1st

 2~ Iron Chef - Research 2 recipes - 1 for goumi berry & 1 for Beets....try to see if we can create 1 recipe using both!!! if you have an idea about making beet sugar...research it!!!

Field Study...Willamette Esplanade to do litter pick up on our adopted stretch of the Willamette and begin our end of the year traditions!!!

SUNDAY MAY 31st...GARDEN DAY!
During Garden Day coming up on Sunday May 31st, Steph, the Garden Coordinator, will be orienting volunteers to summer care opportunities.  Learn the simple steps to help with watering the gardens and taking care of the chickens.  The Summer Garden Volunteer sign-up sheet will be posted up at school as well as online.  Find the link to the online sign-up form through the SES Messenger or cut and paste this:

Meet with Steph around 11:00 on Sunday if you'd like to learn about how you can help or what kids have been up to in the gardens all year!

Garden Day is an important event which prepares the gardens for a long quiet summer and a great harvest season.  At this time of year, when everyone is so busy, the weeds are taking advantage of our attention being elsewhere!  Please attend for as long as you can come to spend time with other Sunnyside families with our hands in the soil, growing amazing students together.
