2. Look up your birthstone by your astrological sign. Tomorrow instead of Downtown Geology we will take a short walking trip to the Gold Door to look at minerals, gems and cool rocks!

Homework
1. ROCKS - go to the two websites do the folowing
A. http://www.learner.org/interactives/rockcycle/diagram.html
- Take 2 detailed notes on each of the 3 types of rocks. Write them on your rock cycle diagram.

B. geology.com/rocks
 - explore characteristics of different rocks and determine what is your pet rock~!
- Write down at least 5 characteristics of your rock
then...
-write 4 clues that would lead people to discover your rock, use scientific language and maybe fun one that connects the rock specifically to you
DUE THURS

2. Myth - Implement edits and revise your myth!
- at least 2 paragraphs, be sure to include that it is a myth on volcano/earthquake, that the characters are clear, that I can tell where in the world it originates - DUE WED

3. 3D project - FINISH IT! - spend 1/2 hour on the written piece. We will spend 1 hour in class either Wed or Thurs check these off as you complete each one!
