HW - Field Study Ecore #1 -  Due Mon 9/9
(please look at your child's ecore comp book and see how it is organized - ask questions!)
Almost every week of the school year we go on field studies to explore, observe, understand, and participate in the world in which we live. We connect this to the different content areas the students are studying. It is very important to our curriculum and school culture that students take field studies as an important part of our curriculum, engage fully and thoughtfully complete assignments.

That said, the Essential Questions (EQ) are the big picture, synthesizing questions that we ask students to consider. Answers for each question should be at least a paragraph in length. Assignment questions are shorter lists, ratings, short answer type questions which often include a completed worksheet that was filled out during field study.

This year I intend our field studies to inform our focus of study, to inspire our class to move in different directions and to take full advantage of opportunities.  I hope that we can use our learning back in the classroom the next day and week to propel us forward. Please help and encourage your child to fully complete any Thursday Ecore homework so he/she can fully participate in class.

Thanks all for sending amazing children to school everyday. i truly look forward to a year with this class!
